The Detroit Red Wings come to town on Saturday, January 16 for a 1 p.m. showdown against the Dallas Stars. Continuing an annual tradition, the DFW MSU Alumni Club has reserved two blocks of seats for Club members and friends. We have 30 seats in section 309 at $40 each and 24 seats in the Platinum Club (sections 202-204, "On the Edge" seating in the bar area) at $145 each. The Platinum Club seats include a buffet that starts at least an hour before the game and runs through the second period. $5 of each ticket will go to the MSU Alumni Club of the Greater Dallas/Fort Worth Area Endowed Scholarship Fund. TO RESERVE TICKETS, EMAIL BETH AT bbergman@hrehab.com WITH THE NUMBER OF TICKETS YOU WOULD LIKE. Please send your payment in the form of a check made out to the "DFW MSU Alumni Club" to Beth Bergman at 6355 Shady Brook #2233 Dallas 75206. Due to the popularity of this game, the Stars are requesting payment by mid-December. Payments are due to Beth by Saturday, December 26 with checks cashed after that date. Tickets will be mailed unless other arrangements are made.

If you missed being a part of SpartyBall the past four years, you will not want to miss our 5th Annual Event! Each year, the Michigan State Alumni Association of Metro Chicago contributes to an Endowed Scholarship. This scholarship was established to support academically strong students from the Metro Chicago area who have demonstrated financial need. Last year this endowment provided a $3,000 scholarship to a local Chicago senior to attend Michigan State. The goal of this endowment is to someday provide a student with a full scholarship. SpartyBall in the Windy City is the largest contributor to this valuable and noteworthy cause.
