Farewell Letter from the Evening College Director

As February 2013 draws to a close and Spring (a time of renewal) is around the corner, I want to take this opportunity to thank all of our Evening College participants, administrators, faculty/instructors and donors for supporting Evening College throughout my (almost) 17 year tenure as Director of the MSUAA's Alumni Lifelong Education and Evening College. I will be retiring at the end of February 2013 to seek new adventures of lifelong learning, pursue new passions, and spend more time with family and friends.

You have enriched my life and my MSU career with your support, dedication, loyalty, and creativity. You have shown us here at MSUAA that you place great value on opportunities for lifelong learning and we indeed want to continue offering you opportunities for personal and professional lifelong learning.

I look forward to the next chapter of the evolving and enhanced MSUAA Evening College and I hope you will too. It will take time for my colleagues here at MSUAA to aggregate many of the wonderful personal and professional enrichment opportunities that MSU's 17 colleges and over 200 units offer to alumni and community but we hope to offer a catalog of these great opportunities by Fall 2013. This is an initiative that will take time and effort on the part of many before we are able to promote an enhanced Evening College to our customers.
