Running to Meet Ourselves | Lessons Learned from 20 Years of Race Relations at MSU

Event Description

Long before On Being and the associated Civil Conversations Project, the Multi-Racial Unity Living Experience (MRULE) has been providing spaces for MSU students to “[speak] together differently in order to live together differently.” What wisdom does the past twenty years of this work provide for those of us who continue to engage in similar conversations across campus as well as for those approaching these conversations for the first time? Join us for a recorded conversation on Friday, May 26th at 5:30 p.m. with MRULE co-founders, Richard Thomas and Jeanne Gazel, and co-director of the mruleICA program and director of the Mosaic Multicultural Unity Center, Maggie Chen Hernandez.
