Sojourn in St Andrews | Robert Burns and Scottish Literature
In this presentation, we’ll explore Burns’ life, look in detail at some of his poems, and examine the influences which made him the writer he was. We’ll conclude by highlighting Burns’ prevailing influence on Scottish culture and the controversies which complicate his legacy. Presented by Garry MacKenzie, an academic, poet and non-fiction writer based in Fife, Scotland.
