Event Description

This event was made possible thanks to a gift by Dr. Iltefat Hamzavi, father of MSU alum Zaakir Hamzavi, in honor of his father, the late Dr. Latafat Hamzavi. In late January of 1963, Malcolm X delivered a famous speech at the Erickson Kiva entitled “The Race Problem in America.”
