Join the MSU Alumni LENS Livestream as university faculty and staff members discuss topics around inequality such as income inequality and political explanations (policy implications); the focus on the 1% and everybody else; voting based on social issues and not economic ones; implicit bias and what it means; micro-aggressions; teaching social justice to dismantle the injustice; racialized inequality in K-12 “curricularization” of racism; changing demographics in the classroom and who is the teacher; cumulative disadvantage; cycle of victimization and poverty; resilience and the university’s Project 60/50.
