Editor's Message
Dear Readers,
I am the most fortunate editor I know. I have the pleasure of following long-time MSU Alumni Magazine Editor Bob Bao, who retired last spring.
Notice I didn't use the words "replace Bob Bao." That would be impossible. His knowledge, familiarity, acute memory and recall of MSU's important history and, of course, his insider expertise on Spartan Athletics, cannot be reproduced.
Through he's off perfecting his gold swing, he's still on the hook. Bob is keeping his Spartan press credentials and will continue to cover sports for the magaine. I can't imagine anyone better.
He is also paying forward his far-reaching knack for creating good will on and off campus. It's a legacy I've experienced repeatedly since joining the Spartan community in April.
I look forward to carrying the mantle of this award-winning, trend-setting magazine and hope to hear from you when you have great alumni stories to tell or you wish to weigh in on stories in this and future issues of the MSU Alumni Magazine.
