Then, hop on a luxury Nile cruise and visit the city of Edfu and discover the pharaonic temples in the Valley of the Kings. While in Luxor, the site of ancient Thebes, see the warrens of lavish burial chambers that boasts some of the most impressive monuments in all antiquity. Further south at Aswan, marvel at the geometrically imposing temples that write testament to the power of archaic gods and omnipotent pharaohs and translate ancient stories told in the beautiful hieroglyphics that line the walls of ancient tombs.
