Designed for people with little to no experience, join MSU alumna Tasha Stielstra as she takes you on a Dog Sledding and Ice Climbing expedition in Michigan’s beautiful UP. Hook-up and drive your own dog team on a 20-mile guided dog sledding trip with the sled dogs of Nature’s Kennel through the pristine trails of Northern Michigan. Enjoy another day of wintery splendor on an ice climbing expedition in Munising, MI and a guided hike of Munising waterfalls. Accommodations are at Chamberlin's Ole Forest Inn in Curtis, MI. Instruction will be given for hooking up your dog team and professionals will show you all you need for ice climbing. This tour is limited to 10 people so sign up quickly. You must have good upper body strength, be able to stand for 3-4 hours, and have good balance.
