Every graduating Spartan receives a commemorative scroll at commencement, featuring unique artwork created by a talented member of their class. Through this initiative, MSU proudly supports student artists by contracting a graduating Spartan to design this meaningful keepsake.
An artist has been selected for the 2025-26 commencement scroll. A submission will open in fall 2025 for 2026-27 scroll artwork.
Here’s a general timeline for the annual commencement scroll art submissions:

December: Samples due
January: Interviews & selection
May: Final piece due
