Grandparents University

Uniting Spartan Generations

Michigan State University welcomes young Spartans ages 8-13 and their grandparents to campus for a unique inter-generational learning experience at Grandparents University.

This three-day campus experience is a truly unique, fun-filled occasion that actively engages participants in MSU academics while creating lasting family memories. Each year, more than 1,000 participants from throughout the United States and around the world choose from nearly 200 classes offered by more than 25 colleges and units at MSU. Grandchildren and grandparents participate in four classes and unique evening programming with ample time allocated for exploring all that the MSU campus has to offer, and experience college life by living and dining in an MSU residence hall.
