Diversity Equity and Inclusion

Michigan State University is committed to reflecting the rich diversity of its students and alumni in university experiences, initiatives, communications and interactions. The MSU Alumni Office seeks to bring awareness to the university community's diversity efforts by featuring work done in support of diverse communities.

To foster a vibrant university community of diverse thought, backgrounds, interests, abilities and talents, a workgroup exists within the MSU Alumni Office to better understand opportunities for improvement within our alumni engagement efforts. Advised by the MSU Black Alumni (MSUBA) National Board, this group is working to develop a three-year plan aimed at strengthening the connection of alumni who identify as a racial minority to Michigan State University.

Conversations around diversity, equity and inclusion are essential and constantly evolving. If you have feedback or a topic suggestion, please email Maria Giggy
