  • How do I get information to you for one of the magazine sections?

Write to: Editor, "Spartan" magazine, 535 Chestnut Road, Room 300, East Lansing, MI 48824; or e-mail; or complete a form online. Because of the lead-time required in publishing our magazine and the significant amount of submissions received, we regretfully cannot publish every item we receive. We do try to share your submissions with MSU’s colleges and on other university platforms, from websites to newsletters.

  • How do I write a letter to the editor?

Use the same addresses as above. Make sure to type your name, the year(s) you received your degree(s), if applicable, and your current address, phone number, and e-mail address (if you have one). Please keep your letter to 150 words or less. We reserve the right to edit for length and clarity.

  • Does the magazine accept advertising?

Yes. The magazine accepts display advertising. The MSUAA also accepts banner advertising for our e-newsletter. Please contact Peter DeLong by email or by calling 877-MSU-ALUM for additional information.
