Meet Niya, 2024 Homecoming Court Member

Niya Patel is an accomplished senior from Okemos, Michigan. She is pursuing a degree from the esteemed Broad College of Business in Supply Chain Management with a minor in Information Technology. Niya is also proud to be a member of the Honors College, a testament to her commitment and dedication to academic excellence. 

Niya’s passion for her education extends beyond the classroom and is evident in her role as the President of the Broad Student Senate. She exemplifies what it means to be a Spartan leader. Niya’s dedication to her Broad College constituents and the rest of the MSU community is showcased by her commitment to being an advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion. Her hope is to cultivate an environment where everyone, regardless of identity or background, feels respected, valued and empowered to succeed.  

As a student at the Broad College of Business, Niya spends much of her time in the Minskoff Pavilion. Luckily, her favorite spot, the Student Engagement Center, resides within its walls. Niya is honored to be a member of this year’s MSU Homecoming Court. As a representative, she hopes she can help encourage fellow Spartans to involve themselves in various initiatives to learn their passions and foster their own leadership. Niya aspires to leave a lasting impact at MSU by contributing to a more united and engaged Spartan student community.
