John Weigelt | A Presidential Experience: Surgeons Role in US President Safety

Dr. John Weigelt, a 1970 DVM graduate is this year’s CVM Distinguished Veterinary Alumnus - Non-Practitioner award winner. Dr. Weigelt completed his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1974, and has had an accomplished career as a surgeon and educator. Dr. Weigelt is the Milt & Lidy Lunda/Charles Aprahamian Professor at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, and Professor, Department of General Surgery, and Chief, Division of Trauma/Critical Care at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Join us on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 8:00 am to hear Dr. Weigelt discuss his distinguished career as an accomplished surgeon and the roles that surgeons play in the safety of US presidents.
