This tour is designed specifically for alumni ages 22-35.
This 8-day tour includes a chance to explore Ireland’s rich history, farm-to-table culinary advances, famous whiskey distilleries and beautiful green scenery. Begin in Dublin and consider a visit to the historic Jameson Distillery or have a taste at the Guinness Storehouse. Continue to Ballymaloe, a famous cooking school, for a tour of the organic garden and lunch. In Cork, take a ride to visit the quaint fishing town of Kinsale and visit a local 18th century market to view the variety of organic foods available. A trip to kiss the Blarney Stone at the Castle is also an option. Take in a Franciscan Well Microbrewery to enjoy brick oven pizza. In Dingle, learn about sustainable harvesting of of seaweed and enjoy a tasting at the Dingle Distillery and the West Kerry Microbrewery for local Irish Lager.
